Facelift
Facelifts (a Rhytidectomy) involve the removal of excess face fat and skin, as well as the tightening of loose skin and sagging muscles.
There are various types of facelifts including: the mini lift; the SMAS lift; the extended SMAS lift; the mask lift and the composite facelift.
You may want a facelift to remove wrinkles, smoothen out your skin and look the age you feel. Your procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, and will usually take 2 – 5 hours which allows patients to usually go home the same day.
Eye Bag Surgery
Eye Bag surgery (Blepharoplasty) is where unwanted fat or skin is removed from under the eye bags, leaving a smooth and refreshed appearance.
You may want eye bag surgery to correct sagging and remove dark circles or crow’s feet that are making you appear tired.
The procedure takes around 2 hours, is performed under local anaesthetic and patients can go home the same day, though will need their stitches removed 3 – 5 days later.
Nose Surgery
Nose surgery (Rhinoplasty) covers procedures that alter and reshape your nose, nostrils and internal septum. Procedures we offer include Rhinotips, Septorhinoplasty and Reduction Rhinoplasty.
You may want nose surgery if you want to resize your nose, reshape the tip or increase or decrease nostril size.
The procedure is performed under general anaesthetic, takes 1 – 4 hours depending on the surgery, and patients will require an overnight stay in the hospital afterwards.
Ear Surgery
Ear surgery (also known as Otoplasty, Pinnaplasty or ‘Bat Ear Correction’) consists of a small incision to reshape the cartilage and reduce the size and protrusion of the ears.
You may pursue ear surgery if feel your ears stick out too much, are uneven or sized incorrectly for your face.
The procedure takes 1– 2 hours, is performed under local or general anaesthetic and patients can go home right away.
